The fact that their season ends so early is ridiculous and a hindrance in their national rankings as well as their performance in postseason bowl games.
Using the academic schedule as an outline is a farce and totally irrelevant. The goal of college is to provide career training and preparation for after schooling and major sports are a totally legitimate and in fact lucrative career choice. Not only should the football team disregard the parameters of the academic schedule but players should get academic credit for participation.
That's all I got for now on that subject it's an idea that's still in genesis.
