Shaun Rogers..... TOUCHDOWN!....

I still think the Browns gave up WAY more than they had to in order to get Shaun Rogers but he is going to be key on the defense this year.....

and the novelty of YouTube has worn off on me... the fucking video quality sucks.  Plus it's in those tiny 3" by 3" windows.  They need to do something about it, it's inexcusable and a joke.  It's 2008 already.

new Punisher: War Zone preview....

at first I wasn't sure about this one.... but this new trailer is starting to change my mind....  only thing it just doesn't seem to have any hook or anything new to offer.... I mean it's not even special that the character is on the bigscreen, he just was like 5 years ago....  this preview is a step in the right direction though as far as getting me interested....

I originally thought it would be a more realistic take on the Punisher in a real world type setting and not necessarily the new Marvel Movie Universe (too long, MMU from now on) started in Iron Man and Hulk; but with the inclusion of a character like Jigsaw, I think it taking place in the new MMU is now not out of the question.

ALSO: KiD KuDi's mixtape is still badass.... the closest thing I can think of is that he's sounds like pre-Stankonia Outkast, with the same amount of singing Andre 3K does now though....

Totally bad ass.... might be the best mixtape put on this site yet..... probably is....  spacey is the adjective most used and most apt in describing his sound, he raps but it's not quite rap music; maybe space-hop?.... released today....  highly recommended

CAVS SUMMER LEAGUE:

First of all from the roster that was posted here earlier take off Wayne Simien and add Cleveland's own Jawad Williams....  J.J. Hickson went off in the first game for 26 and 9, in the second had 18 and 6; while Darnell Jackson has looked pretty good for a rookie 2nd rounder... right now I don't think trading Andy and keeping those 2 plus the Tractor to replace him upfront would be that big of a loss at all...

....and what the fuck? I can't find John C. Reilly as Dr. Steve Brule from "Tim and Eric: Awesome Show" anywhere... before I saw those I was convinced that JCR in TD (Talladega Nights) was just a one shot of hilarity, Dr. SB proved otherwise... JCR is a comedic genius.

Judd Apatow and Will Ferrell comeback flicks....

I'm still concerned she might have saggy Terri Hatcher titties but I'd give me left nut to find out.... (not joking..... as long as I was able to get a prosthetic and freeze some of my boys beforehand just in case; I would actually, literally give my left testicle to bang her.)

As far as Will Ferrell's comeback flick from mediocrity I really think John C. Reilly and Step Brothers are going to do it... needless to say Ferrell's been on a cold streak ever since Talladega Nights and I think this is going to end it....

With Judd Apatow, he and his flicks are definitely on the downswing as well.... however the problem with Pineapple Express is that it doesn't quite look like a straight up comedy and that might throw off the viewing public... as far as being a good movie however I think it (from the little I have seen in the previews) it's going to stretch his standard "guy romantic comedy" formula.... 

of course seeing the cast I am just assuming that this is a Judd Apatow movie... it might not be and I don't even feel like checking... uhh, I think it's going to be a pretty good flick though, more of an actiony-comedy compared to his past straight up comedies....

Iron Man Review....

Saw Iron Man and it was fucking awesome.... now all the reviews I had read had it being the best superhero movie ever and I immediately took that to be blasphemy... but then again when thinking about it and due to the crap that's come out, that title is like winning a gold in the Special Olympics.... 

so yes it is one of the best superhero movies ever, it's competition is really only Batman 1 (generally overrated though) and Batman Begins.  Batman's 2 and 3 were decent as well with 3 being vastly underrated (although nowhere close to the awesomeness of the others on this list) along with 2 not getting the just praise it deserves, but still blowing away 3.  

As far as decent superhero movies the X-Mens and Superman Returns were better than I thought they were going to be and worth watching... ehh once; I wouldn't buy any of them on DVD though or necessarily stop on the channel if they're on cable.  The rest all suck.... not that I don't watch any of them if they're on HBO (not if they are on regular TV with commercials though.)

Now notice I did not say COMIC BOOK movie.  Sin City, 300 and a bunch of others were great flicks.... I am only talking about SUPERHEROES.

As for Iron Man.... Robert Downey Jr. makes the movie.  Listen when I first heard he was cast as Tony Stark, I thought it was a bad move along with the rest of you.... but then I saw that first trailer that I went apeshit over (as previously posted) and began to turn around.... and honestly after seeing the movie no one else could have done better.  Either he took over the movie or the movie was made for him.  

Gwyneth Paltrow actually looks pretty decent as well for the first time in a while.

Also the computer graphics were the best I have ever seen.  There were times when I couldn't figure out whether they were working with an actual live full size prop or with a computer generated one.  Even the times when it obviously had to be CGI it looked realistic (or as realistic as a guy flying around in a suit of armor can be, smartass.)

In conclusion, Iron Man gave me an Iron Hard Boner.

The first 5 minutes are available to view online in some places and there are a million trailers floating around.... but I am actively avoiding everything.  Even to the point of turning the channel when previews come on TV... I want to go into this fresh and I don't want anything to be spoiled...  well insomuch as the "how", due to the Bat-mythos "what" happens to "who" is pretty much set in stone....
