WTF? BADASS!... Arlovski v. Nelson added to CBS ELITE XC FIGHT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!

This is easily the biggest match ever to be featured on these CBS cards...

Andrei Arlovski is a very popular former UFC Heavyweight Champ and almost consensus current top 5 MMA heavyweight in the world.  He trains in boxing with Freddie Roach and is likely soon going to fight professionally in that sport as well.  He's known as the guy with the fangs on his mouthguard.

Roy Nelson is a top 15 in the world heavyweight.  He was the heavyweight champ of the IFL until it went under.  He's pretty much known for being "the fat guy" who can fight... if he is known at all.  That doesn't mean he is not a legitimate opponent however as he just hasn't seen the exposure of other fighters.

The fact that this fight is now on the card legitimizes it as far as a true MMA event.... albeit one where the sideshow is the main event, however (Kimbo v. Shamrock.)

I think this movie has the potential to be freaking awesome... first of all you have to realize all the angel/valkyries are hallucinations by drug users; Valkyr is the name of the drug and it is prominently involved in all aspects of the plot...

I think worst case scenario is it's a great looking, highly stylized run of the mill action flick... everything that Wanted was supposed to be (that movie looked fucking retarded by the way, was there even a reason the people had those abilities?  Angelina Jolie always seems to piss me off somehow also.)... 

Shoot 'Em Up killed the genre of the physics defying, bullet time action movie... it's the Scream of action movies.... but Max Payne combining the subgenre with the Sin City presentation style and this added aspect of the drug and it's hallucinations and trying to figure out what is real, I think could make it work.... I'll see it in the theaters....

Bad things are that it's supposed to be PG-13 I think.... that and the fact that it could just be utter dogshit... I'm going to give it a chance though.

Awesome fight... Takanori Gomi gasses so bad, Nick Diaz doesn't come after him right away because it looks like Gomi's faking it to lure him in.... all kinds of awesome slobberknocker....

From the little bit I saw of this she looked chunky, which evidently has always been a problem with her.... her last fight on CBS she came in 4 1/2 lbs. overweight (144.5)... supposedly she puts on a bunch for Gladiators, I think she's at 160 for that but I have no idea where I heard that (maybe Sherdog?)

Seinfeld/Gates Windows commercials...

Generally I'm a mac guy (got away from it approximately when Jobs left then returned a couple years after he came back) but I love the new Windows commercials with Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld... especially compared to the Mac vs. PC ones that Apple does...

the first one I prefer the long version like the one shown here... for the second one I think the broadcast chopped down, split into two commercials way is much tighter and cuts so that the timing is funnier...

as far as operating systems I have found OS X to be much, much easier when compared to XP... I did install Ubuntu (Linux) on an old PC though and was really impressed with it, as far as ease of install and use....

When you consider the short term for the different advertising campaigns I think Apple has the better one.... but it is infinitely more annoying and ultimately what each is going for in the end is actually pretty different.  Windows is not "selling" anything per se (as opposed to Apple's more direct advertising), but rather just trying to reposition their brand and change that image in the eyes of the consumer.
